The best I’ve ever used is by Computer Associates. Great antivirus and antispyware. My brother in law is a network specialist, and he swears by it.
just download onthing avira antivirus and use firefox for browsing the internet this the summary of my 2-3 years experience i have not been infected since 1 year as i started avira antivirus and its free i tried almost all but found this best belive it or not search it on google its site
The ideal situation is a situation where you don’t need such things… If you use linux or have a Mac, you are in the ideal situation…
However, in my experience SpyBot is the best anti-spyware and AVG makes a pretty good anti-virus… Avast is also reported to be a good anti-virus programme…

Spybot – great spyware protection
Ccleaner – amazing cleaner
adaware – not so good
symentec – okay
