I don’t have Vista, so I can’t tell you what this will do, but the only registry cleaner I will use is Microsoft’s Live OneCare Cleanup Scan. I’ve used it for a year now, and have no registry problems. I do have XP SP2.

i have never used a registry “cleaner” and would be afraid to, since if it cleaned away important files my computer might not run or some apps might not work. anytime i have had registry issues i just go to RUN and type in “regedit” then i navigate to the software tree, expand it and delete the software registry that i know is causing the problem. if i have uninstalled a software and rebooted and the software still shows up in the registry then that’s wrong, so i delete it.
